Rapper Lil Strainge and producer White Liqueur collaborated for this 4 song ep (titled Strainger Things)that came out July 27th. Strainge grabbed my attention quickly with the Johnny Cash name drop to open his project. Lil Strainge vocals slide over the beats almost effortlessly on Johnny Cash. White Liqueur’s production style is something that I definitely could hear on a major release. Hints of producer Don Cannon are definitely to be found in his style. Overall Strainger Things is definitely worth the quick listen, Lil Strainge approaches the sound well and White Liqueur definitely comes through on production.
